Love these hats. This is the second time I’ve bought them!

The black one quite effectively blocks sunlight. The navy does really well too, just tiny pinpricks of light coming through the top seams of the hat. The red allows more light through. It's not as bad as the open weave hats like the Santa Monica, but it's noticeably lit up by the sun, so some rays are getting through. Just a heads up.
